John Buckley McQuaid (IRL):
Vocals, 12-string Guitar & Keyboards
Musician, Composer, Poet, Painter and Writer of Fairytales, born in Dublin and based in Denmark. Writes all the band’s material. Professional musician since 1979, singing and playing (Guitar & Keyboards) to enthusiastic response at countless Clubs, Schools, Theatres, Art Galleries, Museums and Festivals all over Europe. Together with Søren Mortensen, films, edits and produces all the band’s videos.
Ivan Sand (DK):
Acoustic, Electric Guitar & Mouth-harp
Performs both solo and in bands. Has played with such notables as Michael Falch, Peter Thorup, Kim Sagild, Per Kolling, Georg Olesen, Bobo Moreno & Michelle Birkeballe. Is presently working on his 6th release “Next Time Around” with lyrics by McQuaid.
Søren Mortensen (DK): Bass
Producer, Sound engineer, Multi-media Wizard, Computer and Internet Consultant. Søren works and tours regularly as a theatrical sound designer/engineer.
Svend Eeg (DK): Drums & Percussion
Classically trained, with a background in both the structured and improvisational, Svend provides a dynamic percussive foundation for the band. He has played many different styles of music throughout his more than thirty years’ professional career – Pop, Rock, Blues, Cabaret, Theatre and Puppet Theatre. At present, Svend works as a Music Therapist.
Johannes Grønager (DK): Sax & Keyboards
Johannes is a prolific composer, particularly for Saxophone with a speciality in brass arrangements. He has written for recording bands Saxfeat and The Blow Job and has arranged the music for several musicals. Johannes was a prominent player in the vitally dynamic underground music-milieu inÅrhus during the 1980's and was a member of the legendary “Neodepressionistic Dance Band”, which had several national hits including “Det ka’ vi godt prøv’ ja, ja”.
